Garage Gnomes Chronicles
And here we are at page eight already, it's getting weirder as we move forward in time, HUH?
Well it's pretty obvious they are in full operations here on NADA FARM.

As was discussed here in the past, the Garage Gnomes are a resourceful bunch, in fact they have made the transition to the area much more effectively than I have to date. For example, containers, no matter what the container, they have found a way to rig or hide or rearrange everything that was moved down here and even changed labels on things so that they ended up in wrong areas, and even wrong structures. I'm generally pretty careful to keep things together if they work or go together, even boxing them in the same box if they are mutiple part items. Like old computers, I have parts for computers that are no longer available like drives or power supplies, but even they are in need of separation by type, size, power requirements, and the like. Well they are suddenly all in a pile as if somebody was looking for a spare box to do something else with. Now it's not a big issue as I don't have many old computers to work on at present, but I do like to have an idea where the parts are when I need them.

I recently began trying to refurbish a computer that runs a piece of machinery, it's an old DX4 machine so I'm trying to upgrade it gently until I hit it's capacity. Anyway I was selecting parts to put in it, and the pile was rearrainged, The part I needed was removed from the pile and a newer unit was substituted. So when I drove the 90 miles to install it it wasn't the right part. Man that gets frustrating... So I have been locking things up a little more often and double checking things before I put them back in their storage areas. I also recently had a little damage due to weather at the Lake Street estates. When I got there I had the one caulking gun that doesn't work, of the 6 that I have, 5 now, I took the one that didn't squeeze forward. I was not happy. So when I returned I got a bottle of booze and set forth to find out why there are so many frustrations currently befalling me. Time to talk to the Rotten Little Blighters that are in charge of mischief around here.

I have found that they are drawn to the smell of liquid refreshments, particularly those involving grain alcohol derivatives, a little methanol and they are really interested in getting friendly as long as the bottle lasts. I was right when I surmised they are now in allegance with the Gnomes that traveled from Akron. And there are seemingly few instances of conflict among them as they are usually happy making my life miserable. However there is this one incident, that I'm still trying to get a grip on. I'm rather unsure as to who is the head honcho down here, Rudy was good about getting things done in Akron, but lately he seems to be a little less effective at getting situations resolved, or maybe he doesn't need my approval as much down here. Anyway things are pretty rough when it comes to getting tools back or finding that missing part around here at present. So I need to stage a meet, and find out what's up.
