Garage Gnomes Chronicles
And here we are at page seven finally, it sure is weird isn't it?
I changed my mind about leaving them in Akron, I'm not sure it was a wise change!
I have been bringing them down in boxes marked "parts" for the last three trips, Rudy has been arranging it so that they would comply. Turns out the Gnomes here are some not so distant relatives, Seems they have an affinity for the Irish, but will tolerate the French, as there is equally a chance to obtain alcohol from either race. Though it turns out they were mainly from the Black forest area of Germany originally but the Germans, they found to be too mean to accept their cohabitation, something about organization, and cataloging, and listing everything. Anything that conflicted with total order had to be eliminated. So the Garage Gnomes went underground, and everyone knows the underground movement is prevalent in France. But more on that later. For now I am glad to have recovered the clip for my 22 rifle. I finally worked it into the negotiations for one of the trips down, along with a couple tools that had recently "gone missing". And oddly enough, though they claimed "more fervently than a Clinton" that they were uninvolved, suddenly the missing items were just laying in the open in the garage. I also recovered the small plastic drawer of "hose clamps" that have been missing for nearly a year. I'm also pretty certain I have located one of their meeting halls, or what would pass for one. Not unlike the ground hogs I have been pursuing recently, they know enough to have a 'rear' escape route, or an alternate exit, anyway they leave so fast there is a small vacuum created. And things get tossed around. Fortunately, it's not enough to start a 'construct' into motion, though I think they could have, if they weren't trying to stay on good terms at this point, though I don't know what it is they need from me at this point, I'm sure I'll be finding out soon enough. Cold weather is approaching and I have been insulating and closing up quite a few holes in the buildings, and getting the doors to close more effectively, and some of them even lock. Or it might even be the recent attempts at security camera operations I have been pursuing. As I have the computers networked and spread out over the acreage I am setting up area surveillance and this might be making them nervous... We'll see, as time marches on, in tiny little steps and large hops.
